Peace Corps Mission and Goals

This is the mission and goals of Peace Corps, and thus as a volunteer they are now my mission and goals.

Mission:
To promote world peace and friendship.

The three goals that help achieve the mission:
Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.
Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

The Thesis is turned in!!!

Normally, this blog is for my life in Moldova, but I have to share this.

I was checking my Facebook page and my friend Desiree posted THE best picture in the whole world. The picture of her turning in MY thesis. It is official-I am done. The last step of my graduate school career was taken by my good friend Desiree!! Thanks Des!!! And congrats to you as well.

    Thanks! And congrats to you again. I cannot believe the hoops we both jumped through to get these things finished! Nate apparently cannot share in our pain because he had no hoops...oh well. WE ARE DONE!!! Several times since turning mine in I have thought, "OK, so what do I have to do on my project today? Oh wait...I am done!!".

    On an equally positive subject, I am happy to hear that you are doing so well in Moldova. Keep up with the stories and more pics when you can.
