So we had several days where we either took field trips to places in Moldova or had discussions about Moldovan culture. These are pictures from a day when we visited a monastery. You'll notice that the girls all have scarves on our heads and that most of us (me included) are wearing skirts or dresses. This is the style of dress that women are suppose to have when entering monastery and some churches in Moldova. The grounds of the monastery were gorgeous!!
