Peace Corps Mission and Goals

This is the mission and goals of Peace Corps, and thus as a volunteer they are now my mission and goals.

Mission:
To promote world peace and friendship.

The three goals that help achieve the mission:
Helping the people of interested countries in meeting their need for trained men and women.
Helping promote a better understanding of Americans on the part of the peoples served.
Helping promote a better understanding of other peoples on the part of Americans.

Funny yet true video

So you want to join the Peace Corps...hilarious in its sarcasm and honesty. Some days I feel like the guy, others I feel like the woman. This experience is definitely a mixture of idealistic optimism and sometimes crushing reality.
